Calgary Wrap-up
February 3rd, 2012

The Warriors finished the weekend going 3-2 after suffering a 2-0 loss to the Boston Shamrocks.  On Saturday the girls picked up a pair of victories starting with a 4-1 win over NSA.  Sam Sutherland scored 2 goals and Heather Berzins and Jessica Sibley each scored a goal.  Saturday night the Warriors earned a come from behind win over the Washington Pride.  Shannon MacAulay scored two goals in the third period to give the girls a 4-3 victory.  Sam Sutherland and Ivana Bilic also scored with Jade Walsh picking up hte win in goal.  On Friday the Warriors fell 4-2 to NAHA.  It was a tight game and the girls battled hard but fell a little bit short to the first place team in the JWHL.  Jessyka Holt and Jessica Sibley provided the offense scoring a goal a piece.  Earlier the girls opened with a 7-3 win over the Colorado Selects.  Heather Berzins and Sam Sutherland each scored two goals with Megan Normore, Nicole Blanche and Shannon MacAulay providing a goal each.  Jade Walsh earned the win in goal.  The regular season has now concluded with the playoffs set for March in Colorado.
