Davis & Makinen at U-18 World Championships
April 4th, 2010

The IIHF U-18 Women's World Championships wrapped up in Chicago, Illinois with team Canada winning the gold in a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory. Warner Warrior Sarah Davis was a member of Team Canada posting 3 goals and 1 assist and a plus 7 rating in 5 games. Davis played the wing for Canada who went undefeated in the tournament to capture the gold. Fellow Warrior Niina Makinen competed for Team Finland. Makinen posted 1 goal and 4 assists and a plus 5 rating in 5 games. Niina also played the wing for Finland who went 2-3 in the tournament losing out in the quarterfinals. Warner Hockey School is very proud to have these two players represent our program on the international stage. Great job girls!
