Warriors Win JWHL Championship

The Warner Warriors have won the JWHL championship. The girls opened the playoffs with a hard fought 5-4 victory over the top seeded NAHA Winterhawks. It was the Warriors first ever victory over the two time defending JWHL Champions and a great start to the tournament. In the second game, the girls defeated The Colorado Selects in a thrilling shoot-out victory. The game was back and forth and despite giving up the tying goal with only 12 seconds to play, the Warriors stuck together and emerged victorious. With the two wins the girls clinched first place and were presented with the League Championship Trophy on Saturday. The team has really come together and it is a remarkable achievement to be the champions in the competitive JWHL league.
