Carissa is entering grade 11 and playing goal in her first year at Warner Hockey School. Before coming to Warner, Carissa lived in Cochrane, Alberta, where she got her first year of JWHL experience. She is very excited about the possibilities provided by the WHS program. Carissa loves sports, the outdoors, animals, and spending time with her mom, Jessica and her dogs. She has three older siblings. In addition to hockey, Carissa used to play football, inline hockey, and competed in equestrian events. She chose to come to WHS because of the future opportunities it will create. WHS will provide Carissa with the tools to accomplish her goals of playing for a university and Team Canada, while also helping her to develop as a person.
