Emma returns as a grade 10 student, playing defense, in her second year as a Warrior. She was born in Guelph, Ontario before making the move to Cochrane, Alberta at the age of two. Emma's parents Barb and Bill live there with her Akita puppy named Bow. Her interests include hiking, biking, swimming, and painting. Her favourite colour is turquoise. Emma's favourite food is any kind of pasta and she loves ice cream. Emma started out by playing ringette at the age of six and switched to hockey at ten years old. She has been in love with the game ever since. This will be her fifth year playing hockey. Emma came to Warner to further develop her hockey skills and to help her achieve her dream to represent the country by playing for Team Canada. Being in Warner has helped Emma learn about herself and the game through high level competition and coaching. In the future, Emma hopes to play for Team AB at nationals, Team Canada, and play at the post-secondary level. She plans to do all this while remaining on the honour role and studying kinesiology or athletic sciences in university.
