Channia will be joining Warner Hockey School for the 2011-12 season entering grade nine and playing defense. Parent's Gerald and Val, as well as younger brother Carlin, older sisters Carissa, and Cylenna, who will also be attending Warner Hockey School this season, reside in Calgary, AB. Channia started ringette at the age of five and switched to hockey at age eight. Enjoying summers at the family cabin in Sylvan Lake, AB, Channia also likes making new friends, music, and summertime. She dislikes the dark, scary movies, and spicy food. Coming to Warner, Channia is hoping to become the best player she can be by setting and achieving academic goals, while improving both on and off the ice.
